Submission modalities

When to submit an intermediate report

One intermediate report in principle have to be submitted 3 months before the end of implementation period.

Reporting deadline may be adapted in function of the duration of the action (e.g. Primary Emergency Action vs. 12 months action). In any case check Article 4 of the Agreement.

The intermediate report covers the period up to 1 month before date of submission and reports on the whole action (both for 100% financing or co-financing).
It represents the best moment to notify changes or request amendments (e.g. extension) and major donations to be foreseen at end of the action (see Donation procedure).

Delays or no submission of the Intermediate report

In case of delay partner must provide a valid justification. Otherwise DG ECHO is entitled to terminate the Agreement with advance notice or reduce its funding.

Repeated failure to send reports is a serious breach of the FPA and may be reason to suspend/terminate the FPA.
