WORKING WITH DG ECHO AS AN INTERNATIONAL ORGANISATION | 2021 - 2027
PRE-FINANCING
Unless otherwise foreseen in article 4.1 of the HACA Special Conditions, an amount of 80% of the European Union's contribution to the Action is given as pre-financing.
The process for the initial pre-financing payment will be launched automatically by DG ECHO upon receipt of the signed Agreement without the need of sending any request for payment. DG ECHO will make the pre-financing payment to the partner within 30 calendar days following receipt of the signed Agreement.
INTERESTS GENERATED BY PRE-FINANCING
Unless otherwise foreseen in article 3.3 of the Special Conditions, Partners do not have to reimburse any interest generated by the pre-financing. They can keep the interest and pledge to use it for humanitarian aid purposes.
